In the Eyes of a SoldierIn the eyes of a soldier
The living shoot the dead;
He stands there, watching,
Within the fields stained red.

The cries of his comrades
And enemies alike,
Echo with pain
Between every strike.

All fight for their country,
Their family, their friends,
But not all return home safe,
In war, they've met their ends.

An injured soldier crawls,
Calling out for any aid,
The enemy looks down
With sympathy, and sight that gave.

His legs were blown off,
Strength failing fast,
Struggling to live, but with his
Heart beating once, twice, then last.

The soldier kneels down,
Presses his hands to his head,
And prays for the man
Who now l

Tysharina ACEOby =FallenZephyr

This is a commission for

, who requested an ACEO of her dragon character, Tysharina.

I hope I drew Tysharina correctly! It was fun sketching out the pose, as I wanted to try something different from what I usually draw. I used blue acrylic to get that "mottled" look on her scales since it would be extremely difficult (and time consuming!) to use coloured pencils!

Some of the scales are edged with silver gel pen, but it doesn't really show in the scan. The shiny effect from both the gel pen and the acrylic background is pretty cool if you hold it just the right way under bright light
