30 Day MLP Challenge, Day 27: Octavia

This is a challenge I designed for myself in which over the next 30 days (hopefully) I'll be drawing one random character from MLP:FiM each day.

Important notice: Seeing as I clearly can't keep up the pace with one drawing a day for this challenge, it's not really considered a 30 day challenge anymore XD However, I will continue to contribute to the "challenge" until I reach the 30th drawing, but at my own pace. Life is busy :I

Further inspired by my last deviation, I was compelled to draw my next challenge piece in a similar style but in a digital format rather than traditional.

Octavia was more tricky to think of something for than the other ponies I've drawn so far because all she's shown doing in the show is playing her big cello at various functions. My headcanon likes to think that Octavia is capable of playing other stringed instruments other than the cello, hence the title "String Quartet". I gave her a cellist's bow, then added the three fiddleheads of the cello, viola, and violin, and finally drew a winding set of piano keys behind her. In case you're wondering, yes, there are string quartets which consist of one violin, one viola, one cello, and one piano.

The music notes I added into Octavia's hair include the first few bars of Mozart's Eine Kleine Nachtmusik for the cello!
