Pokedex Entry for #144 - Articuno, SoulSilver: One of the legendary bird Pokémon, it chills moisture in the atmosphere to create snow while flying.


Articuno has always been my favourite Legendary Bird because you know, blue's my favourite colour! It's horrible in competitive play but nothing can compare to how pretty it is :meow:

I think I overdid it with the feathers (as always) but I just can't get over how FLAT Articuno's wings look in the games. They look like paper! Even Zapdos has fuller looking wings than Articuno :I

For the most part I used only four blues for the majority of Articuno, then some greys for the other parts. Looots of blending, but I really like how this one turned out!

Wow, such an amazing!!! And I love the colouring! You know I think the wing detail looks fine, but as a whole they look a little detached form the body.
And I agree with you, Articuno is defiantly my favourite bird Legendary too, it's just so elegant, haha, and very blue >u<
