Fallen and Stratos ACEO by FallenZephyr Fallen and Stratos ACEO by FallenZephyr
:icondonotuseplz::iconmyartplz:

An ACEO set that I drew for my boyfriend as a Valentine's gift :love:

The story behind these two cards involves me lamenting to Jonathan (my boyfriend) about how he doesn't have a character or a dragon character and that drawing him as a human in my cartoony style was a bit of a pain in the ass. (I don't really like drawing humans often, except for my comics, strangely enough.) Anyway, I quickly sketched up a dragon design and then Stratos was born!

Stratos is a half Eastern, half Western water element dragon whose name originates from Jonathan's gamer name, Stratos.FEAR. The blue stripes on his head, belly, tail, and the ends of his spines have bio-luminescent qualities and glow when his surroundings become dark. Stratos is able to fly and swim exceptionally well, but has trouble tapping into his magical abilities. However, he is a huge physical force and if you ever find yourself facing off against him in a physical duel, you're pretty much screwed.

Can you see the hidden heart? Teehee~

Eee, I see the heart <3 This is beautifully done. Colored pencils make some drawings look "fake," but you used them really well :D

thank you very much :love:

I agree with you when you say that coloured pencils can make drawings look fake in a sense.

Wow...
This is awesome.
I love how you put the picture on two separate pieces of paper, it looks great!

You're very welcome!

ACEO sized? What's that may I ask?

ACEOs are Art Cards, Editions, and Originals, and they're about the size of you standard collectable card (like Pokemon cards!) each ACEO is unique because there's only ever one of that card (unless someone decides to scan it and print multiples of them, but that defeats the purpose, sort of).

So you drew those dragons on card-sized pieces of paper?
Are they kind of like prints?

I hand-drew everything onto a piece of bristol that was card-sized. and no, they aren't really like prints unless you decide to make multiple copies of them via scanning. they're a one-of-a-kind card!
