MOAR DRAGONS YAY

This is Eissturm, an ice dragon I designed as the main antagonist for my comic "How We Became One". _{(omfg plot spoilers)}

His name originally appeared under Aaerus's description as Sharik, but at that point in time I hadn't yet thought of a design for him. (Also, I learned that the name "Sharik" is a GIRL'S name that means "one the sun shines upon", and it wouldn't really be suitable for an ice dragon XD)

Eissturm literally means "ice storm" in German, which sounds pretty damn masculine. (More masculine than Sharik, anyway.) He's huge, fierce, and has a really bad temper. I wouldn't mess with him.

Erm, more about the art piece itself. Eissturm's wings were a total bitch to position and colour correctly in such a way that it didn't look stupid. His horns are made of dense, semi-opaque ice that I coloured as black at the tips, sort of as an allusion to "black ice". I couldn't decide on a suitable eye colour for Eissturm other than yellow, so yellow it was!

One another note, this pic also doubly serves as a gift to one of my dearest friends, who lives out of the country in Germany

He loves the dragons I design so I thought I'd surprise him with this in the mail!
