"So CC, what do you think of Canada?"

Coffee Cream looked up from her steaming mug of coffee for a moment. "I think it's great! You guys have really good coffee up here." She went back to sipping her delicious drink, her sweater sleeves protecting her hooves from getting burned by the hot cup.

The dark grey pegasus sitting across from her laughed. "I ask you what you think of the Great White North and the only thing you can tell me is that the coffee's good? Of course, that's a typical answer coming from you." Fallen Scythe picked up her own mug of hot chocolate gingerly. Whoever had made these drinks really emphasized the "hot" in hot chocolate.

"Well Fallen, since you asked, I think Canada is too cold for me considering I'm from way down south. But then again, we don't have freshly made maple syrup, or tons of snow on the mountains, or ski lodges!"

Fallen smiled. "I'm glad you like my homeland, even if it is below freezing. You get used to it after a while."

"I wonder how the boys are doing?" Coffee Cream took another chocolate chip cookie from the plate between them.

"Eh, they're probably getting themselves into trouble. What do you expect?"

Oh Fallen, you don't know how right you really are. If only you and Coffee Cream had looked out the window!

I chose to draw something based on the words "Canadian Winters"; this piece depicts Fallen Scythe having a snack with Coffee Cream in a ski lodge while the guys lose control of their toboggan and are just about to crash into the side of the building :dummy: Orange Zest is trying so hard to steer that toboggan out of the way but Silver Sword somehow managed to get his hind leg tied up in the cord and is now dragging behind in the air above. Lightning Aura clings to Zest for dear life... and poor Midnight Groove fell off face-first into the snow a ways back. Aww.

More practice with my copics and that Letraset pad! I wanted to try drawing a background (for once) and it turned out ok. I know the perspective looks a bit wonky but meh, good enough for practice I suppose.

This is also a little gift for my online friends, who introduced me to MLP:FiM a while back; without them I wouldn't be enjoying everything awesome that the brony community has to offer. I hope you guys like it! (And sorry about Midnight ~BassLegend, it was just too funny to pass up!)

Thank you very much! I'm actually not really fond of the wood because it was kind of rushed and it looks too dark in a lot of places.

I also remember those so-called Crazy Carpets. I went through several during my youth.
